Summary of Engage (超新星爆発)

The supernova explosion looms over Nico, Ichico and Feng, described as “the most destructive natural phenomenon in the world”. Language smiles, asking Nico if he wants to turn to ash with her. Feng is ready to attack with a new technique, but Nico doesn't listen to him and assumes a meditative stance, with Feng noticing that he is using one of his methods to concentrate Chi. Ichico reassures Feng, saying that he knows that the current Nico can find a winning move. Nico then attaches her soul to Ichico, transmitting to her the memories of the weapon that he and Mico built in the previous loop and capable of rejecting even God. Thanks to the word "Science" from the second round, them two will be able to create it. Nico asks Feng to pilot it, but Feng refuses, saying however that he wants to repay Nico for guiding him into that state of mind. Language warns them that there is only one minute left until the next word and that if time passes they will have lost. All three then create the "Super Dreadnought Union Lethal Weapon Superior Buster: Soul Version", the pulse cannon that repelled God during Ragnarok. Language notices that Nico used his imagination to reinforce a word he had already used, also wondering if he gave up on overcoming her attack with Shiritori. She knows that Nico's intention is to push her and Sun's copy off the surface of the Earth, but with the scale of the explosion even that won't be enough; science, after all, cannot counteract the greatest of natural phenomena. Nico and the others enter the cockpit and fire, pushing Sun's copy backwards. Language rejoices, since his opponents will never be able to defeat her Sun, even more resistant than Luna's copy and, since he is closer to them UMA than anyone else, her image of him is even more solid. With his turn started, Nico adds the Spanish language, choosing “Agujero de gusano” (wormhole) as the word. A portal opens behind Sun's copy leading to the Master Room, with Soul and Change watching in shock as the portal opens. Language can't believe it, and Feng then begins to mock her, wondering what fool she could imagine other than his own victory during a fight to the death. As Sun's copy falls into the Master Room, Soul tells all the other Superior Rules to stand back, and watches Language apologize him for losing. Language suffers heavy damage as her image of Sun dies. Now reduced to her base form (her head holding her book with her hair), Nico warns Language that, if she chooses to regenerate in the next turn, he will kill her before she can. Language, however, intends to continue: after all, she has been thinking about playing that game for 4.6 billion years. It's Nico and Ichico's turn. Nico adds the Lithuanian, summoning "Aradvaras"[1], a poisoned spear. Fuuko's group arrives, but Language has already been neutralized, with Feng walking away. Her last word was "Santuoka", Lithuanian for "Marriage" (結婚, Kekkon?), which ends with the Japanese letter “N”. Language decided to give up, losing the game but giving Nico and Ichico two wedding rings. Nico is a bit annoyed by an UMA encouraging him, but decides to propose to Ichico then and there. Ichico agrees. The quest to neutralize Language is successful, with two seats being added to the Round Table.
