Summary of Dumb Son

A flashback reveals Feng's backstory; once a street urchin who got stronger to stay alive, he was approached by a man who wanted to teach him martial arts to fight nonviolently. Feng takes advantage of him and then beats the martial artist up after learning everything he can from them. Feng then decides to pay a visit to the man's school learn more about martial arts and become even stronger. In the present, Shen and Feng decide to have their final fight, with Fuuko explain that Untruth works on people the Negator is found of, which Shen states is useless in this fight, as he states he hates Feng. A flashback then reveals Feng's tragedy; after defeating the entire school and stealing all their techniques, calls himself "the strongest in creation", with the school vowing revenge. However, as Feng boasts that until he grows old and "fades away", God awakens Unfade within him, forcing Feng to never be dethroned or defeated as everyone else grow old and wasted away. In the present, Feng begins to realize the nature of Negation abilities and asks Fuuko about this as he stands over a wounded Shen, which Fuuko reveals him as "Unfade". When asking what "tragedy" Feng has experienced when claiming his power, Shen states because of Unfade, Feng has become lonely, waiting for someone to defeat him. Shen uses a dangerous technique to try and beat Feng, but as he and Shen lock eyes, Feng recounts all those years ago as he his unaging body made the school rivals that wanted revenge on him being unable to keep up, having entrusted their techniques to their next generation, and leaving Feng all alone. Shen then manages to get a good hit on Feng and launches him out of the ring. However, as Feng prepares to get back in, he finds himself unable to move, as Untruth, as it turns out that Shen's previous statement of hating Feng was a lie. Feng admits defeat and congratulates his "dumb son" for his victory.
