After entering Phil's room, he reveals that when he was three, his mother transplanted his brain into a mechanical body to save him when he got sick. As a result, he sees himself as a robot. When Nico examines Phil's hand and sees how badly damaged they are, he asks if Phil actually loves his mother. Phil states he does, and then tells everyone where she is, but is running out of time due to being targeted by "them". As everyone rushes down the corridor to reach Phil's mother, Nico asks Fuuko what they could be dealing with. Fuuko has zero clue, as this loop already has UMA Galaxy added to it and anything could happen. Noticing Fuuko's worries, he tries to cheer her up with Cat's Cradel. Just then, "them" appear, which turns out to be hostile aliens after all. Because his body is at his limit, Phil separates himself from the group with a shutter in order to teach them how to deal with "them", letting his body be torn apart in the process. Fortunately, Nico manages to raise the shutter and everyone rushes in to save him, with Fuuko reprimanding herself for thinking this version of Phil was different due to having a mechanical body. After asking Phil to hand over his ayatori string, she prepares to fight off "them".
