Sean complains about not being picked for the space mission, but Fuuko scares him by stating if he were to pass out while in space, his ability would prevent anyone from rescuing him. As Sean tearfully runs away, Nico tells Fuuko that he could still be found with thermo vision, but Fuuko reveals she did it so Sean's interpretation of "Unseen" could change. As Sean continues to run away, he is stopped by Gina, who wants to go to space as well due to wanting to help Fuuko. Working together, Gina helps Sean evolve his Unseen by making him unseeable by things that can "indirectly" see him, allowing the two to sneak aboard unnoticed as the rocket launches off. After making it into space, Sean questions Gina on what to do when they reveal themselves. It turns out that Gina hadn't thought about the consequences of defying orders, and they nearly give away their position when the main team locates Phil's station. However, as it is badly destroyed, they have no idea where Phil and his mother could be to dock, and without an anchor, they'll drift off. Creed tries to go out and anchor the rocket, but Fuuko denies the action as the UMA that attacked the station is still out there, and they have no idea what it can do. It is at this point Gina and Sean reveal themselves and state they'll take care of the anchor, much to the anger of Nico, shock of Fuuko, and surprise of Creed. As Gina states this was the plan, Sean calls her out on the lie.
