Summary of Run-in

In a war zone in South East Asia, Buroja, radioman Tella locates three tanks that seem to be in need of ammo resupplying. Just then, his captain, Billy, approaches him for a status update. While Billy is there, Tella asks him if the ancient super weapon, called "Disc" exists. Billy says it does, because the higher ups that sent them, a mercenary squad known as "Horizon Balance", here believe it does as well. However, it turns out that Billy has no intention of giving them the weapon, as it would lead to more conflict. Billy says he'll take over the watch, and asks him to sing to the injured men back at the camp. As Tella sings, two of the injured men thank Tella for the song, but reprimand him on trying to protect them, the injured, when at best they can be decoys. Tella however counters by saying that it isn't a victory until everyone goes home, even promising to go into battle by himself, but the two injured men recite the creed of Horizon Balance, telling him not to worry about their fate. Tella decides to switch back with Billy, but remains steadfast in his wish to protect everyone. Later that night, five fully armed tanks lead by Creed suddenly start moving to the camp. Tella, realizing he miscalculated, tries to warn everyone, but just then, God awakens Untell. Narration then explains that "Untell" forces its user to be unable to communicate at all with anything that uses their own body. As such, Tella is unable to do anything but futility beg for help as the tanks fire at the camp. Creed then states to his men if they all want to go home, they have to "sell their souls to the devil", stating that no "angel" will save them. However, one of his men realizes that their attacks didn't hit the tent, and suddenly, the rest of his men begin to panic. As Creed furiously questions what's happening, it's revealed that Gina, Void, and Fuuko have stoped the attack as Nico and Ichico are transporting the injured away using the Psycho Pods. Fuuko then tells Gina and Void that they're on backup as she'll stay on the offensive.
