Summary of Face-Off

Fuuko challenges Void for his belt, causing an uproar in the crowd. However, Void mistakenly thinks she's just a fan and gives her his robe with his signature. Nico states how the quest hinges on Fuuko getting Void to see her as an enemy to awaken his Unavoidable, which is why she begged for Ed, Void's opponent and victim, to back off from the match. Nico then tells Fuuko they should change plans and alter everyone's memories to make her physically look like Ed. Fuuko refuses, saying that as long as she is changing people's lives, she wants to meet everyone honestly, no gimmicks. Fuuko's persistence then has Void respond by unleashing his bloodlust. Void asks Fuuko if she really plans on fighting him, and then recommends against it, stating that boxing is the simplest form of entertainment, and that the different weight classes mean that they are "from two different worlds". Fuuko, now taking a stance, counters by saying as they are both human beings of the same world, planet Earth, and as a human being, she wants to box with him. This gets Void excited, and the two rush each other, sharing blows. Void acknowledges Fuuko's wish to fight him, but wonders if his sponsors would even allow for that. Fuuko then has Nico alter everyone else's memories, letting her enter the ring. Void doesn't mind his sponsors' sudden change of heart, and then apologizes for refusing her request to fight him, as when he was younger, he got to fight all kinds of opponents with no rules attached. He then leaves, wishing Fuuko luck when they fight in the ring. Fuuko then passes out due to the force behind Void's blow rattling her brain, but Nico manages to catch her with his Psycho Pods. As they leave, Nico asks how she's going to win given that her blow didn't affect Void. However, alone, it turns out that her body blow actually did more damage then it initially appeared to, which gets Void excited for their match on the 31st of January.
