Nico asks why Unluck summoned a man instead of a meteorite, Fuuko explains how using a bullet with a lot of affection summoned something far worse. Feng then demands he and Fuuko do battle, as per their agreement for every UMA he kills, and no one else. As he prepares to strike, Fuuko reveals to a panicking Gina that he has yet to figure out how Unluck works. She then takes the same stance as Feng and by combing her Unluck with the martial artist skills taught to her by Shen, she causes the core of Heat to trigger a gas explosion that knocks Feng out cold. As she prepares to leave, Feng asks Fuuko how she's so strong. Fuuko tells him about her master, Shen, and that he's much stronger than she is, recommending that he finds and raises him, stating they can become stronger together. Feng then asks what it means to be the strongest, with her reply being those with an unwavering heart. This wins over Gina but while Feng writes it off as foolishness, he still agrees to find Shen, if only so that he can kill the both of them before leaving as Fuuko is happy that she is one step close to preventing Shen's tragedy. Later at Stonehenge, Gina receives her Union uniform as Fuuko cries tears of joy. Then, it's revealed what she was digging for; Apocalypse.
