Summary of Never Change

Gina is seen mourning the death of her grandmother by placing a painting of Lake Baikal on her grave. As she leaves, she wonders why things have to change, only for her village to be attacked by a towering UMA that begins to burn everything around it. This causes Gina to manifest her powers, but as Unchange begins to activate, Fuuko, Nico, and Ichico arrive and use the Psycho Pods to contain her power, preventing her from hurting anyone. Fuuko then goes to fight Heat while telling Nico and Ichico to help evacuate the citizens. As Heat melts anything that gets too close to it, Fuuko uses the G-Liner to create a heat resistant robe that allows her to get close and shoot Heat. It is then revealed though narration that Fuuko experimented with her Unluck, and can now imbue it into objects that she is fond of, bypassing the need for her to feel affection to the target. After shooting Heat with "Bad Bullet 44" and getting out of the blast radius, Fuuko asks Gina if they can be friends, just as a meteorite destroys Heat with nobody else getting hurt. However, it turns out that the "meteorite" was in fact Feng, who challenges Fuuko, as Fuuko herself laments that her Unluck worked a little too well.
